Volleyball tournament organised by police under civic action programme at Arnas
Sub Division Police Arnas inaugurated Volleyball tournament in memory of police martyrs today at Arnas playground under civic action programme. Additional SP Reasi, Surjeet Kumar Bhagat inaugurated the tournament in presence of SDPO Arnas Dr Satish Bhardwaj, SHO Arnas Inspector Rajesh Gautam, and prominent and respectable citizens of Arnas. Besides youth of Arnas and the surrounding area participated in the ongoing volley ball tournament. Speaking on the occasion Surjeet Kumar and SDPO Arnas highlighted the bravery, courage, and valour of the Martyrs and paid rich tribute to the Martyred Police Personnel. They said that our martyrs without caring for their lives fought till their last breath for the peace of J&K and added that they gave supreme sacrifices of their lives while protecting and safeguarding the nation and Jammu and Kashmir Police is proud of our jawans who are contributing day in and day out in the maintenance of peace and harmony in the UT of J&K. J&K police force is committed to providing a platform to the youths to excels in the field of sports. He added that Reasi Police will organize more sports events in near future to give youths of Reasi district a platform to excel in different sports especially in rural areas. He also requested the youth of Arnas to stay away from drugs and channelize your energy in a positive way. Total 8 teams are participating in the said tournament. The tournament is being played on Knock-out bases and the final of the tournament will be played on 24th of October at the same venue.
