In the first ever concluded DDC elections in district Reasi, the BJP has won 7 out of 14 seats. NC won 3 seats, JK Apni Party won 2 seats, Congress won 1 seat and 1 seat won by independent candidate. From Reasi DDC Constituency, NC Won Former Minister and NC Candidate Jagjeevan Lal won by securing 4507 votes. From Chassana DDC Constituency Yasmeen of JKAP got 3730 votes and won. From Chassana-A DDC Constituency Ghulam Ali Malik of NC won the seat by getting 3948 votes From Gulabgarh DDC Constituency :- Independent won Sajra Qadir Independent got 3230 votes. From Mahore DDC Constituency, NC won Abdul Ghani Malik of NC has got 4833 votes. From Mahore-A DDC Constituency:- Congress won Mohd Israil of Congress got 4016 votes and defeated former MLA Mumtaz Ahmed Khan.
