Thief Arrested, Cash & 2 Mobiles Recovered
Reasi/Dharmari: District Police Reasi has solved a theft case registered at Police Station Arnas and recovered stolen cash and mobile phones.
In connection with FIR No. 15/2026 dated 07-03-2026 of Police Station Arnas, District Reasi, registered U/S 305/205/331(3) BNS regarding theft at Shakil Communication, Main Market Dharmari.
During the course of investigation, the accused namely Mohd. Arif, son of Abdul Aziz, resident of Jamlan, Tehsil Mahore, District Reasi was apprehended and during questioning, the accused confessed that he had committed the theft from the shop and had stolen two mobile phones and cash amounting to Rs. 52,541, which he had concealed at his residence.
Acting on the disclosure of the accused, the police conducted recovery proceedings and successfully recovered the entire stolen amount of Rs. 52,541 along with two mobile phones worth approximately Rs. 65,000 from his possession.
