District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Reasi Organized 1st National Lok Adalat of 2026

District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Reasi organized the 1st National Lok Adalat of 2026. It was inaugurated by Khalil Ahmad Choudhary, Chairman DLSA (Principal District & Sessions Judge), Reasi in the presence of other judges, DC Reasi, Kumar Abhishek and other officers.

A total of 16 benches were constituted to settle different types of cases including matrimonial, civil, criminal compoundable, bank recovery, NI Act and pre-litigation matters.

During the Lok Adalat, 3,105 cases were taken up, out of which 2,321 cases were settled amicably, resulting in a settlement amount of Rs 1,06,01,019.

An exhibition of handicrafts and vocational training products was also organized in collaboration with the Department of Handicrafts, Reasi.

The event was attended by officers, advocates, court staff, PLVs and litigants.
