4 Arrested with Heroin in 4 Separate NDPS Cases, 4 FIRs Registered at Police Station Reasi
Reasi: Reasi police have registered four FIRs under the NDPS Act at Police Station Reasi and arrested 4 persons with heroin.
A team of Police Station Reasi during naka checking near IRP Chowk apprehended Pushpinder Singh (Badar), son of Janak Singh, resident of Geeta Nagar, Reasi and recovered 5.10 grams of heroin (chitta)-like substance. A case FIR No. 47/2026 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Reasi.
In the second case, a police party of Police Post Talwara, during naka duty on Baradari Bridge – Reasi link road, intercepted an accused identified as Sudarshan Singh, son of Sundar Singh (Vishal), resident of Palapadi district Reasi, presently residing at Trintha, Reasi and recovered 6.730 grams of heroin-like substance. A case FIR No. 50/2026 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Reasi.
In the 3rd case, a naka laid by Police Post Dera Baba near Krishi Vigyan Kendra led to the apprehension of an accused Manik Thakur, son of Chain Singh, resident of Didi Bhangal tehsil Katra and recovered 2.55 grams of heroin-like substance. A case FIR No. 49/2026 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Reasi.
In last case, a team of Police Post Jyotipuram, during naka /patrolling at Kacharyan, Jyotipuram, intercepted a Ford Figo bearing registration No. JK02BD 9558, an accused identified as Mohd. Hazam, son of Mohd. Maqbool, resident of Nomal, Tehsil Thakrakote, District Reasi has been arrested and 2.77 grams of heroin-like substance was recovered from his possession. A case FIR No. 48/2026 U/S 8/21/22/25 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Reasi.
