DC Reasi Inspects Facilities at Sula Park

Reasi: DC Reasi, Kumar Abhishek visited Sula Park in Reasi to inspect the facilities and review the overall maintenance and public amenities at the recreational site.

During the visit, the DC took stock of cleanliness, landscaping, seating arrangements and other facilities available for visitors. He directed the concerned officers to ensure proper upkeep and regular maintenance of the park to provide a clean, hygienic and pleasant environment for the public.

The DC also inspected the bathing area and interacted with local residents and visitors to obtain feedback regarding the facilities available at the park.

The locals apprised him that the water channel in the area has remained damaged for several years and sought its restoration. They also demanded upgradation of the bathing area for women, construction of a shed over the bathing area, renovation of changing rooms and repair of toilets within the park premises.

Taking note of the public demands, the DC directed the concerned officers to prepare a detailed Project Report for restoration of the canal. He assured the people that their genuine demands would be addressed in a phased and time-bound manner.
