Reasi/Katra: During naka checking at Nangal Road, Katra, a police team from Police Station Katra stopped a grey Maruti Eeco vehicle bearing registration number JK20C 1653 for checking.
During the search of the vehicle, police recovered a sharp-edged toka (machete).
The driver was identified as Chain Singh, son of Krishan Dass, resident of Charala Kot, Reasi. The other occupants were identified as Bablu Sharma, son of Des Raj Sharma, resident of Jadd, Akhnoor, and Mukesh Kumar, son of Shankar Dass, resident of near Railway Station, Katra.
In this connection, FIR No. 149/2026 under Sections 4/25 of the Arms Act has been registered at Police Station Katra and investigation has been started.
